On 3rd April Ambrit's MD Andrew Webb gave a presentation entitled 'Web Enabled Process Management in the Oil Industry' to the Glasgow branch of the British Computer Society.

Andrew introduced the challenges caused by 'uncertainty' in the oil industry and the advantages for communication and operating efficiency offered by web enabled solutions such as Ambrit's Reportª and Inspectª software solutions.

The presentation was well received by an audience of experts from a wide range of IT backgrounds and sparked an interesting debate about the potential for online metrology management.

Ambrit has designed a new web site for Bigeats, home of The New Yorker giant hot dog.

Ambrit also created the New Yorker hot dog cartoon character which is used in all advertising materials and animated using Flash on the web site.
